1.Complete the application form and submit it together with all required academic qualifications for evaluation.
2.Receive Admission Offer
If your application is successful, an official admission letter will be sent to you.
3.Prepare and submit documents including the student pass form, passport copy, photos, and health declaration for processing.
4.Application forwarded to EMGS by the university, with processing and approval normally taking about 6–8 weeks.
5.Obtain your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and use it to secure a Single Entry Visa (SEV) from the nearest Malaysian Embassy.
6.Inform the university before arrival by sending full flight details at least 7 days in advance for airport pick-up and immigration.
The APU–DMU Dual Degree Programme is a special collaboration between Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia and De Montfort University (DMU), UK.
Through this partnership, students are awarded Dual Awards – separate degree certificates from both institutions. Upon graduation, students will receive two degree certificates and transcripts: one from APU Malaysia and one from DMU UK. For Engineering programmes, the DMU degree certificate will be a MEng Award. Both degrees are recognized locally and internationally, giving students stronger career opportunities. The programme is developed under an approved collaboration that complies with the UK QAA (Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education) standards, ensuring quality and international recognition.
